THe Strand

The designer and client agreed a scheme which was a complete redecoration of the whole pub. We started work in the basement area where all walls, ceiling is and woodwork were repaired. When needed, the ceilings were sprayed in French Grey and the lower walls above the dado rail were sprayed in with Canton Green.

The bar was sprayed in French grey, the panels primed and then picked out and sprayed with Metallic Copper making for a fantastic look in the basement area.

In the mid-section of the bar the walls, ceiling and woodwork were repaired and where needed the coving was restored then sprayed with the tinted primer. This was followed by two coats of the Metallic Copper. The coving effect was then covered up on the ceilings and then sprayed in various colours in different zones.

We sprayed the rail, walls and the woodwork to a black.

Our colleague James then came in and hung timorous beastie wallpaper panels across the whole feature wall and this completed the mid-section. Making for a fantastic look.

James also wallpapered the front panels of the bar in the brick fashion wallpaper. In the top floor section of the pub function room and toilets all the woodwork was renovated and repaired. We then sprayed the function room, toilets, ceilings, woodwork and the walls. Finally James came in and hung feature paper on all of the feature walls within those areas completing the scheme to a fantastic finish.
